Corso Italia is alight and ready for the holiday season! Saturday November 25 was our annual Christmas tree lighting. All season long you can experience it’s cheerful holiday glow at the corner of St Clair Avenue and Via Italia.
Corso Italia businesses, friends and neighbours came out to celebrate the event and take part in the ice skating, the characters and street entertainment and of course visits from Mr and Mrs Klaus who were on hand hosting children at the gingerbread house. The businesses of Corso Italia once again joined in the festivities hosting visiting elves who were hanging out in venues across Corso Italia waiting to be discovered. Elf-On-The-Shelf participants who acquired all the stickers earned from the elf hunt, were awarded a chance to win a prize at the tree lighting ceremony.
It was a great event to kick-off the holidays on Corso. We look forward to seeing many return visitors throughout the holidays.
