Promote your Business Across Corso Italia BIA Platforms

We encourage businesses to utilize promoting their services online. Online promotions have always been crucial when it comes to the success of small businesses, and this is especially true as we continue to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. Distantly – People Can Make Online Donations to Small Businesses

Toronto Mayor John Tory announced the launch of an online donation platform where people can make direct donations to small businesses to help reduce the impact of the COVID-19. This platform allows customers to continue to support local main street businesses impacted by non-essential closures.

Corso Italia businesses can set up their free Distantly account today. Toronto residents who are able, can make a secure online donation to their favourite local business. These contributions will help to alleviate expenses, such as rent and payroll.

The Neighbourgood – Promote your Gift Card

The Neighbourgood is an initiative launched to support Toronto small businesses setup and promote their e-gift cards during the shutdown. It is FREE for businesses to participate, and ALL PROCEEDS GO TOWARDS HELPING BUSINESSES stay afloat, support your staff, and rebuilt operations. Here’s how it works:

  • For those already selling gift cards, they will add them to their site and promote you across their site and on socials.
  • For those not yet selling gift cards, they can set you up on their gift card account (for free) and help you connect it to your own Stripe, Square, or Paypal so that payments go directly to you.

Promote your Business at Stay Home Toronto

Stay Home Toronto was established to reinforce the the message for residents to stay home, but to also encourage us to consider and support small businesses in our communities at the same time. Even if you are adapting your business to support social distancing, it can be a challenge for the community to find out about you.

The Stay Home Toronto website profiles small business owners across Toronto who have adapted to provide online, virtual, and other services we can all use while staying at home, i.e., restaurants that have adapted to deliver, yoga studios offering online classes etc. Here’s how you can join:

  • Fill out some Basic Info on their Contact Us page.
  • Stay Home will do all the work the find your logo and write a brief description.
  • You business will be added within 2-3 days

Deliver to your Customers Without the Delivery Fees

Ambassador offers an e-commerce ordering solution called Smart Cart, which they can embed directly into a restaurant’s website, or build into an entirely new website.
